Challenge
|
After a successful stint with their pan-India network of mobile stores, MobileNxt, (a Joint-venture between Network 18 and MobileNxt Teleservices) aspired to build an end to end Online ecosystem of mobiles which would thrive in a multichannel retail environment and thus, ideated the birth of the E-Commerce counterpart of MobileNxt; MobileNxt.com.
After an extensive search for vendors, MobileNxt shortlisted CM Software as its Technical Patner- looking at our excellent track-record with a Largest Indian Retail Portal and a Leading Online Flower Vendor in US. Our challenge began from the word "go", as we were required to finalize all aspects of technology and build on it.
We began by searching a suitable E-commerce Platform and after a thorough review of around five of them, CM and MobileNxt finalized "Magento" for its Feature-rich Solutions, Flexibility and Complete Control over the look, content and functionality. The ensuing challenges were to develop the entire requirement onto this platform. After several Review Sessions with the Design team, CM managed to implement the online store. We also integrated the Payment Processing Systems with several online Vendors like HDFC and Paymate. CM was also responsible to develop the backoffice functionality for MobileNxt. Integration of this portal with an external ERP System for exchange of data and information is also being done.
Achievement: CM Software was lauded by MobileNxt for completing the development of the portal and helping it "go-live" in a span of 2 months. |
